Reviews

“When we first booked coaching sessions for one of our “Sleepiest” voice actors, we had high hopes, and Ronnie exceeded our expectations. Over the course of 5 weeks, Ronnie skillfully addressed the areas we initially wanted to improve. We were amazed by the voice's progress in his delivery and storytelling abilities - it was clear that Ronnie's coaching made a real difference! If you're considering coaching, we wholeheartedly recommend Ronnie. Their coaching has been an invaluable investment. — Jenna Clarke, Sleepiest.

“Why @RonnieButler is a great coach for audiobooks: he takes the time to get you to understand why the changes he's helping you make affect your performance…and he talks to you as an actor, a colleague, somebody equally capable of wonderful work.” — Stephen Jay Cohen (via Twitter).

“Ronnie Butler’s intro to Audiobooks is an in-depth, step-by-step, worth-every-penny explanation of the how-to’s of audiobooks for the professional voice actor. Ronnie generously shares what has made him a successful audiobook narrator in an afternoon that flies right by ‘cause it’s so damn fun!” -Wade B.

“I had been doing professional v.o. for 20+ years when I first approached Ron about narrating audiobooks.  I only wish I had done it sooner. He walked me into the business step by step and continues to be the most integral part of my audiobook career strategy:  “Just do what Ron tells you to do.” -Christopher C.

“Ronnie’s workshop was ridiculously helpful. I love how he helps your embrace what makes you unique as a narrator. I used his practical guidelines when submitting to publishers and I was immediately put on the roster for two of them!” -Kelli T.

"Saturday’s class “Building A Bigger Audio-book Business” with @RonnieButler was compelling and full of invaluable information. Thank you Ronnie!” -Sally Clawson, Voice One, San Francisco

“I loved the workshop because it was very hands-on. Ron's teaching style was very practical, feedback-driven, very specific and goal oriented. All of us participants got ample opportunity to try out different kinds of text multiple times, and experience first-hand the difference in our narration based on his feedback.” -A.J.

“I continue to be amazed at the generosity of the presenters… Like the amazing Ronnie Butler who poured his heart and soul into helping us improve our skills.” -Machelle W. (VO Atlanta Attendee)

"There were a lot of working V.O. pros that night who had not yet experienced working on audio-books… Ronnie inspired each of them, guiding them easily and effortless through the adjustments required to allow the skills and talents to shine through in this medium… showing each person where they had instinctive abilities and where they could improve.  He encouragingly laid out both the not-for-the-faint-of -heart realities and the tremendously rewarding possibilities of working on audio-books." -Tish Hicks, The VO Dojo, Los Angeles
